History
Cavanna Packaging USA, based in Duluth, GA, is a fully owned subsidiary of Cavanna Packaging SpA. Cavanna was founded in 1960 in Northern Italy by Mario Cavanna to provide product handling and flow wrapping systems to the bakery and confectionery industries. The business is still proudly owned and managed by the Cavanna family.

Project Execution
Once you choose to partner with us, a dedicated project manager and the entire project team works with you from the kick-off meeting through FAT and SAT. We take pride in our design reviews and our on-time shipments of your system.
Installation and Commissioning
After a complete FAT in our factory, the system is installed by our team of domestic and international field engineers who participated in the FAT. This approach allows for on-time installation and commissioning.

Riccardo joined the family business in 2002 and is now the majority shareholder and intimately involved in all aspects of Cavanna. He sits on numerous boards including many global packaging trade organizations including PMMI and is the President of UCIMA term beginning 2022-24 (Italian Packaging Trade Association).

Ricky joined Cavanna packaging equipment manufacturers in 2016 from previous companies such as Apple, Koch Industries, Glaston and Barry Wehmiller. As CEO he has the opportunity to get to know all the companies in the group in depth, their people and their processes, a fundamental premise for being able to effectively assume this role.

As leading packaging equipment manufacturers, we have 60+ years of expertise and a global presence of 5 sites and 12 service hubs worldwide. Our experience and expert knowledge in the industry allow us to provide efficient packaging solutions to companies around the world. We also install these packaging systems and support our customers in their daily operations. Over 6,000 machines/lines have been installed at over 900 customer sites and more than 100 patents have been registered.
